If you are thinking of taking part for the first time, do get in touch. You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or ring Charles Woodd on 07962 213494. If you can’t manage the full 4 days, it is possible to register to ride for one or more days. We normally hold a couple of practice rides earlier in the year, which offer a good opportunity for riders to meet, and put in a bit of training. Further details will be available in due course.
Once you have decided to take part you can register online or download the registration form at https://www.friendsoftheconnection.org.uk/events/
The registration fee for the event is £80 if you register on or before 30 June, and £95 after that date. This covers food, accommodation (in church and village halls), support vehicles, insurance and first aid and enables every penny of sponsorship money raised to go directly to support the work of The Connection at St Martin’s. We do not set a minimum level of sponsorship, but you may want to note that in 2017, the average raised per rider was over £800 (with some raising a lot more, and others less).
Spaces for the event will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and are limited to 30 people. Once spaces are full we will operate a waiting list. The minimum age for the event is 18, but fundraisers aged 15-17 may cycle if accompanied by a responsible adult.
